Vigil GSD Rescue is a registered charity based in Guildford, Surrey. They rehome dogs in Kent, Surrey, Sussex, Hants, the Home Counties and occasionally further afield, subject to a home checker being available in the area.

Rehoming a rescued dog can be a challenging but extremely rewarding experience for dog lovers, as we ourselves can testify. Blitz was rescued from Vigil over three years ago and has been a genuine pleasure to own. He is usually with us at shows and is the star demo dog for all our clicker products. In August 2003 we we spotted Fin. A few days later we went knocking on Vigil's door for him! He is now with us and making great progress in his training and has just started agility - what a lovely dog.

Being mistreated, or taken from/given up by the owners is very stressful for a dog and can damage their confidence in people severely, but in the right environment, with that special kind of love, understanding, and patience, that confidence and happiness can be restored.

When you see the progress that rescue dogs make after being rehomed, and the devotion that they pay to their new owners, and indeed the sense of achievement that those new owners feel, it is easy to see why people often take on rescue dogs again and again.

Returns Policy

All returns must include your name, address, order number, reason for return and whether you prefer a refund or replacement. We recommend that you contact us beforehand to ensure our promptest attention. The address for returns is:

Faulty Items

If an item is faulty through manufacturing defect and within the manufacturers warranty period, please contact us. We will agree with you the best way to return the item, and whether to send a replacement or refund you in full (including P&P).

Training or Behavioural Items

As dogs respond to different training methods, we regret that we are unable to offer refunds on behavioural items or training aids unless they are faulty.

Other Returns

Most items can be returned to us for any other reason, provided they are returned ‘as delivered’, within 14 days of dispatch, unused and in the original and undamaged packaging. A refund will be made for the value of the goods (excluding P&P) less any credit card transaction costs, usually 5-7%. If an alternative product is required, additional P&P will be charged.

Items returned with damaged packaging or outside of the 14 day period may be subject to an additional 25% flat fee.

In the case of packaged collars and other Dog Wear that are clearly marked with size information, we strongly recommend that you measure your dog BEFORE opening the packaging.

If you choose to cancel your order after entering your credit card details, any transaction charges incurred by us cannot be refunded.

Send your completed order (with Cheque payable to Training Lines) to the address on our Home page.

To pay by credit card

We accept all major debit and credit cards. Click on the 'Buy Me' link beside your chosen item, or where there is a drop down box, simply select the item. This will add the item to your basket, and display your basket's contents.

Postage, packing and delivery

P&P will be added automatically to your order at the checkout. Click here if you would like more information on P&P or delivery. For orders outside of the UK, please refer to our International Orders page.

Most orders will be dispatched within 7 days.
